SigmaQ becomes the first company founded and headquartered in Central America to achieve organization-level verification and labeling under Carbon Trust Assurance.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and transparency, we obtained independent verification of our Organizational Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory for Scopes 1 and 2, covering 2025 and conducted by Carbon Trust under the requirements of ISO 14064-3.

This milestone reinforces our sustainability strategy and our commitment to environmental management grounded in reliable, verifiable information aligned with international standards.

Carbon Trust Assurance’s evaluation confirmed that the processes we use to quantify, consolidate, and report our emissions meet international standards for quality, accuracy, completeness, and traceability. This independent review strengthens confidence in the climate data we rely on to manage our environmental performance and communicate our progress to customers, investors, employees, and other stakeholders.

An effort spanning 16 operations across the region

The verification covered 16 SigmaQ operations across Mexico and Central America:

• In Mexico: AGH-SigmaQ Purísima, Tlalnepantla, and SigmaQ México Flexibles.
• In Central America: SigmaQ Copacasa, Cajas y Empaques, Litozadik, Polytec, Lacoplast, Cartonera Centroamericana, Kontein, Rotoflex, Tintas, Specialty Products, our corporate office in El Salvador, Canasa, and Empaques SIE.

This scope reflects the coordinated effort of multiple teams and operations to strengthen our environmental management processes and continue advancing toward more efficient, sustainable operations.
